How to combine data from multiple sensors

Download the lesson slides >

This lesson shows you how to combine data from multiple sensors in Factbird, such as production counters, analog sensors, and energy monitors, to get a complete picture of your line’s performance.

By overlaying data streams, you can see how different parameters interact in real time. For example, compare production output with energy consumption to understand the cost per unit, or identify how changes in vibration levels align with fluctuations in performance.

The overlaid view helps you detect irregularities that might be missed when looking at each metric in isolation. You can zoom in on specific time periods or view data for an entire shift or batch, making it easy to connect operational events with sensor readings.

What you’ll learn:

  • Accessing multiple sensors for a single production line in Factbird.
  • Switching between separated and overlaid views for deeper analysis.
  • Using overlays to correlate production data with energy usage and other sensor readings.
  • Zooming in on specific timeframes to identify anomalies and performance patterns.
