How employees use training in Factbird
In Factbird’s Knowledge Excellence app, employees can easily access their training tasks and track progress toward completing Skills. This ensures that onboarding, upskilling, and certifications are always visible and manageable at the individual level.
Notifications and tasks
When an employee is enrolled in a new Skill, they’ll see a notification in the bell icon at the top of the screen.
Clicking the notification takes them to the Tasks page, where they can view upcoming assignments, e.g., Safety Classroom Training. From here, they can confirm and begin completing the associated Learning Activities.
Accessing tasks via profile
Employees can also reach their tasks by clicking their username in the top menu and navigating to the Profile section.
The profile view provides access to both Tasks (pending training) and Qualifications (skills they’ve completed or are enrolled in).
Tracking skills and qualifications
In the Qualifications section, employees can:
- See the Skills they are fully qualified in (all Learning Activities completed).
- Track Skills they are still working on.
- Review progress toward completing associated Learning Activities.
With this setup, employees always know what training they need to complete, while managers gain visibility into workforce readiness and development progress.
