In Factbird’s Knowledge Excellence app, Learning Activities are the building blocks of workforce training. They can be used for onboarding, job shadowing, equipment introductions, or specialized upskilling tasks.

Viewing existing Learning Activities

On the Learning Activities page, you’ll see a list of activities that have already been created. Each activity includes a title, description, and associated location (e.g., Bottling Line 1).

For example, a Labeler – Job Shadowing activity might include an introduction, orientation, and detailed steps that an operator should follow on the job. Activities can also be edited at any time to keep content current.

Creating a new Learning Activity

  1. Click the purple button in the top right to create a new activity.
  2. Enter a title and description.
  3. Assign the activity to a location (e.g., a site, region, or specific line).
  4. Set optional requirements:
    • Start and end time for when the activity is valid.
    • Validity period to specify how long the activity certification should last.
  5. Build the content in the open text field using formatting options. You can also:
    • Attach images for visual instructions.
    • Add links to external training resources or videos.

When finished, click Save. The new Learning Activity will appear in the list and be available for editing at any time.

By creating Learning Activities in Factbird, you can structure training content in a flexible way, ensuring operators always have access to clear, up-to-date learning resources.
