What's new in Factbird?

• Organization Administration
  • The organization hierarchy editor in the administration page has received a few improvements with a focus on user experience.
• User Administration
  • User management related inputs are now disabled for companies that manage their users via an external identity provider, IdP. For example, buttons in Factbird for creating, enabling, and disabling users are now disabled when users are managed through Active Directory in Microsoft.
• Other
  • The color of the buttons for manual rework registration has been changed from green to yellow to signal units that need to be re-tested and not necessarily good parts.

• GraphQL API
  • Documentation clarifies what kind of line ID is returned in the Batch type.
  • The descendants of a Node are ordered first by depth and second by UUID.
  • The documentation for the Line type now states what kind of ID that main_peripheral_id is.
  • Previously the documentation for NodeId and PeripheralId would not render words enclosed with chevrons. For instance, the sentence Format: <uuid>-<index> would be rendered as Format: -. This will now be rendered as Format: {uuid}-{index}.
• Other
  • When adding groups to sensor set up, the group role name is now displayed in dialog.
  • Line status is now determined while disregarding micro-stops.

• Operator View (Closed BETA)
  • Improved manual zoom functionality on register stops chart across all views.
  • Added a ‘Reset Zoom’ button.
  • Extended auto zoom-out to 5 minutes.
  • Now prevents unwanted zoom reset when data refreshes.

• API
  • Removed the editHierarchyDirectory mutation in the GraphQL API, as this has been deprecated for over a year.

• API
  • The GraphQL API returns more consistent error messages when the authenticated user is not authorized to perform the requested mutation or query.
  • Removed the ownerId field of the GraphQL Line type.
• Hierarchy & locations
  • The hierarchy location selector now loads instantly if data has already been fetched once, eliminating the loading spinner delay when switching between locations.
  • Enhanced hierarchy location selector with dynamic height scrolling and preserved expansion state during search operations.

• Scheduled line group reports got a facelift. The formatting of the report was improved by clearly separating the report of each production line by borders and increasing the spacing for better readability. Adding spacing between the columns in the pie chart legend clearly separates them. Thanks to the separation the numbers next to each other no longer appear as one large number.
